Maybe it’s not: “How do I succeed?”, but “What would guarantee failure?”

Ella Jaczynska

One of the most powerful mindset shifts isn’t asking:
“How do I succeed?” It’s asking: “What would guarantee failure?”

That was one of Charles Munger’s most practical pieces of wisdom – approach problems backward.

The answers are usually revealing:
– avoiding difficult conversations
– staying stuck in overwhelm
– reacting emotionally
– waiting for perfect certainty
– protecting ego instead of learning

In leadership and performance, success is often less about adding more… and more about removing the behaviours that sabotage us.

Through the work my associates and I do, we see time and again that self-awareness is the foundation for change. When you identify the patterns working against you, you create the ability to course-correct.
